DigitalCore Pty Ltd presents a unique technology enabling the characterisation of rock microstructures and prediction of petrophysical properties from three dimensional images of rock microstructures. This is possible because of high quality input image data resulting in accurate results.

By combining digitised X-ray (micro CT) images of small sample sizes (~(mm)3 scale), with numerical calculations we are able to predict petrophysical properties and establish permeability correlations for individual reservoir rock properties of conventional and unconventional formations that were previously unsuited to conventional testing techniques.
